I started Yoga after the birth of my first child 14 years ago. My intention then was to simply give up smoking and get a healthier lifestyle and it has blossomed into something very deep and powerful. It has helped bring much healing to me and i’m passionate about helping others to heal through yoga. Yoga is not just a physical practice, it is much more than that, if you want it to be. I like to spend time bringing in lots of different aspects of what I’ve learnt so far of this huge subject and way of life, that is Yoga. We are only on our mats a fraction of the day, or a couple times a week, so i try to teach people how to connect with their bodies and understand their minds on a deeper level, so they can take that knowledge into their daily lives and see positive changes. My classes are always varied, i draw on several styles, mainly Ashtanga, Iyengar and Yin and I also like to regularly have a focus on a particular Chakra too. I enjoy offering different variations designed to challenge people mentally and physically. All for the purpose of helping people to heal and reach the realisation of what powerful beings we all are.
