Hi, my name is Tracy – founder of Calm Collective Sidcup, yoga teacher, psychotherapist, conscious entrepreneur and advocate for self-transformation. My purpose in this life is to help you realise how truly amazing you are.
I began my journey of self-transformation over a decade ago by looking inside for answers instead of outside. I painstakingly asked questions and began the journey of Svadhyaya (self study) through meditation and psychotherapy. The physical (Asana) side of my practice came later once I was over creating injuries from marathons, long distance cycling and triathlons!
My yoga teaching style has evolved over the years and I’m sure it will continue to do so. In my classes I draw on my first love Hatha for the traditional philosophical teachings, Power Vinyasa for empowerment, respect for my students through the teachings of Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TSY) and my more recent qualification as an Embodied Vinyasa yoga teacher, for a deep awareness and appreciation for this body we reside in. An eclectic mix of a practice rooted firmly in a fundamental intention of freedom and respect.
I studied Hatha yoga in India, I have also undergone trainings in Power Vinyasa, Embodied Vinyasa, Trauma Informed Yoga and Hot Yoga. Teaching yoga is a privilege and honour. I am forever grateful for my teachers and especially my students who learn with me and grow with me.
