Hatha Flow is a blend of two traditional Yoga styles, Hatha (static postures) and Vinyasa (flowing movements), giving you the benefit of seamless transitions between postures while also allowing you to hold in those poses a little longer than you would in a traditional Vinyasa class
What to expect
In this class you will practice traditional Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Asanas (Yoga postures). You will flow through the sequence using your breath as your guide, while pausing in certain poses for 30 seconds to 1 minute. The continuous flow of the Vinyasa will keep your body warm and build your endurance and static poses strengthen and open the body. This class promotes following your breath and letting it be your guide as you move through the poses. You will then come down to your floor stretches finally entering into Savasana (relaxation).
