Charlotte Valinotti

After practicing yoga for 12 years, I initially did my teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga with Africa Yoga in Uganda back in 2009. Rather than follow the strict doctrine of teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa, I began sequencing yoga classes incorporating the best bits of the different styles I’ve practised over the years including Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Vinyasa flow and Hatha.

As one of many people who aren’t naturally flexible, my goal is to create yoga classes that enable students to safely progress with their yoga practice in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Each class has a strong focus on building up and using your core strength and breath to support you as you go deeper into the postures.

By focusing each class on a different theme or area of the body, such as hips, forward bends and balancing postures, you get the opportunity to develop gradually and safely into more challenging postures.
